The Loazzolo Vendemmia Tardiva, boast of our land, is a late harvest obtained from 100% moscato bianco grapes partly left on mats to dry up in the open air and partly harvested from the end of November untill the 8th of December when the bunches of grapes left in the vineyard and covered with Noble Botritis mould have taken on a golden straw colour and, when pressed, give off an intense fragrance of candied fruit. The wine-making process of this parsimonious harvest is followed by a fermentation in small oak barrels with a capacity of 225 litres. Intense, persistent and pronounced fragrance with hints of dried sage, confectionery, vanilla and honey; sweet- non-sweet taste, elegant and caressing body.
Brut Giuseppe Galliano classic method is a wine obtained from 80% of Pinot noir grape and 20% of Chardonnay grape. The wine base is then bottled, sugared and added of yeats and it finally achieves the refermentation in bottle. At the end of this process we assist at the maturation on the yeats which lasts about 2 years. After this period of time the procedures of remuage and degorgement prepare the wine to be drunk.
Giuseppe Galliano Chardonnay Brut has a fine foam and a persistent perlage, a final delicate and intense aroma. The wine base is obtained with a fermentation at a controlled temperature and is then sugared and added of yeats for the refermentation (Second Fermentation).
This important and crucial phase will continue for 15 days and later on the product, which is now sparkling wine, remains still in the autoclave to mellow on the fermentation lees.
The range of Chardonnays comprehends three different wines:
Marajan Piemonte Chardonnay barrique which fermentation takes place in special small oak barrels with a capacity of 225 litres. After this delicate process the product reaches gradually its complete and further maturity for other 9 months in wood barrels on the fermentation lees.
Greenish glints on a gold base; its fragrance is dominated by flowery hints and by evident nuances of vanilla. Its long-lasting final and distinctive tenacy, its harmonious taste characterize this wine with its unique temper.
The right combination between marls of Cessole and sandstones of Serravalle Scrivia makes this small vine-growing area extraordinary for the culture and production of the Chardonnay grape in the territory of Loazzolo.
Crevoglio Piemonte Chardonnay represents a unique wine thanks to a constant and patient care in the vineyard which gives origin to an excellent basic grape which permits to produce a wine with a distinctive and typical character.
Finally Pian Muciot whose name comes from the vineyard of production and which means Small Plain because it was originally sorrounded by fields of corn and maize. A fresh and fruity wine with a fashinating taste, full-bodied and with delicate harbaceous sensation.
La Caliera Moscato d'Asti is, without doubts, the soul of the enterprise together with the Loazzolo Vendemmia Tardiva. A full-bodied, robust and velvety Moscato d'Asti with an intense aroma, a fragrance of candied fruit, acacia flowers and typical musky and delicate aroma. Its scent of violet is unique.
Finally El Calič, a pleasant partially fermented grape must, simple and fragrant. The real reason why this product has been created is to show that the Moscato grape just pressed and with only 3% vol. of alcohol, is able to give origin to a must rich in parfumes and very full and seductive in its taste.
